Alex Popov

Director - Project Management

Alex Popov is a senior project and construction management professional with more than 15 years of progressive leadership in oil and gas, LNG, pipeline, industrial gas, and complex capital construction. He has taken projects through the full EPC lifecycle, from proposal and planning through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout, with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, contracts, risk, and contractor performance.

His career has moved steadily from utility-scale capital programs to full-lifecycle project leadership. At National Grid USA, Alex supervised major construction programs spanning LNG facilities, gas transmission systems, and distribution infrastructure. He then joined Linde Engineering, where he managed the full construction lifecycle for industrial gas and energy infrastructure projects. Most recently, at TRC Companies, he led pipeline and facility projects end to end, bringing engineering, procurement, legal, construction, and field teams together under a single execution plan to keep projects on track.

Alex's core strengths include project and construction execution, contract administration, contractor oversight, schedule and cost control, and cross-functional coordination. He holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications.
